ABOUT
LILLY DAY is a filmmaker with a focus in writing and directing. Her most recent film as director is PINK, which has screened at the Portland State University Student Film Festival. As a screenwriter, Day’s credits include Communist Lipstick (2017), Kettering (2016), Pink (2017), and Ball & Chain. (2017)
Day is also engaged with production design and management. She has worked on numerous projects as an assistant director and production assistant. Day has worked with Danielle Taylor, Simon Max Hill, Joaquim Pujol, Matt Stirling, Kamyar Mohsenin, and Amy Borden.
Recently, Day was featured in T-Mobile'sâ„¢ New Years Eve Holiday Party Commercial and Google'sâ„¢ Nexus 2 Print Campaign as a model and background actor.
A native of the Pacific Northwest, Day's creative work and production management have been supported by the Portland State University Film Department, the New Generations Film Festival, and Alumni of the Brooks Institute. In 2016, she was awarded the Geneva Foundation Grant for poetry and the New Generations Film Festival's award for Best Storytelling.
Day currently resides in Portland, OR and will be relocating to Los Angeles, CA to attend Columbia College Hollywood in the summer of 2017.
